Lock Symbian Applications

While helping people at a Discussion Forum today, I saw a discussion on locking files on a Nokia N72 and realised that it was still confusing for some users. So prior to going offline for a week, I thought of helping
out you guys with this little guide.

The good part is that, this guide is not only for the N72, but also for any Symbian OS device (ranging from Nokia 6600 to Samsung i450 to Nokia N95 8GB and on).

1. Download Advance device lock for s60v2 and install it(at the time of publishing, a cracked version for s60v3 and 5th has not been released). For those guys who have hacked their s60v3 or 5th can search google.

2. Navigate to code

3.Use 0000 as old code

4. Enter your desired new code

5. Navigate to locks and turn "Protect Application" on

6. Goto options > protect applications to select the application you wish to protect/hide.

7. Go back and press "Done"
