How To Make Your Symbian File Invinsible

Have people been playing with your phone? Using it to send games, application or even musics to their phone without your permission and you want to put an end to it?

In the next few minutes, i shall be revealing to you, how
to hide your applications from your friends. But before i start please
NOTE:The application(s) to be hidden are not the ones you installed but the raw file(s). To read my post on how to lock your installed applications click here.

PROCEDURES ON HOW TO HIDE DESIRED APPLICATION

You only need one application to do this. And the application is, x-plore.

You are kinda supprised right? I told someone about this tutorial before posting it and he said "but this is thesame application people send things with". But do you know that you can also send files with a symbain phone without the use of X-plore? In my next post, i shall be talking about it but before then, lets continue the how to hide.

You can get X-plore from sharemobile, depending on your phone's version.
After downloading it install and open it.
You will see all your saved raw files depending on the folder location.

To hide a file all you have to do is change its attribute. To do this

1. Scroll to the file or folder you want to hide

2. goto menu > file > attribute.

3. Under attribute you will see three unselected option, select "Hidden" and press change.

That file will automaticaly turn invisible.

To make it visible
1. press 0 or goto menu > tools > configuration and select 'show hidden files'

2. Next goto your hidden file and change its attribute by unselecting hidden.Note that the files will not be shown on phone’s default File Browser also while hidden.
