How To Protect Your Windows Xp Administrator's Password

If you are reading this post as a windows xp operating system user, then you are about to save your computer's account from being hacked.

Do you know that the account you are protecting with password is not an administrator's account, (except you are aware of what I'm about to show you) you are just using it with administrative privilege.

Very soon you will decide on which account to use. But first of all lets start by knowing how your administrator's password can be hacked so that you can know how to escape it.

HOW YOUR PASSWORD CAN BE HACKED

The following is what is done

Once you are
logged on, or on the login window
(where you are requested to enter the username and password
), just press CTRL+ALT+DEL 2 to 3 times.
A new window will come up, then
enter username 'ADMINISTRATOR'
password -blank, then hit log in and
do whatever you want.....

To fully protect your computer just follow these steps!!!

HOW TO PROTECT YOUR COMPUTER

¤ Login to the administrator's account ( as shown above)

¤ Goto start>Control Panel>User Accounts

¤ Now Click on the account you want to password (Administrator)
Note: Do not turn on the "Guest Account"

¤ Click "Create a password"

¤ Type the password you want to use in protecting the administrator's account> retype it and choose a password hint.

Note: When choosing password hint, try to be trickish, i.e instead of using "TEACHER" as your hint, use something like "CHEATER".

¤ Click "Creat Password" and close all windows.

Hope this helps.
